W3 Total Cache Plugin:
Somebody says that the Default settings work fine but it is noticed that it work only in case of Page Cache. But if we want to get the best result from w3 Total Cache then we must have to configure it like the process below. I have searched a lot on Google for the perfect settings of W3 Total Cache Plugin & after a lot of research I have got the Perfect settings which I have already applied in my site & Really I have got a mind blowing results. You can also apply these settings in your site without any hesitation.
Let’s see the settings /configuration:
1. First Install The W3 Total cache plugin & then Click on Performance Option from the Dashboard.
Then You will see the following options.
# Dashboard
# General Settings
# Page Cache
# Minify
# Database Cache
# Object Cache
# Browser Cache
# User Agent Groups
# Referrer Groups
# CDN
# Monitoring
# FAQ
# Support
# About
# Install
Now we will configure these options one after another.
# General Settings:
Click on General Settings from the Dashboard & Enable different options like the images below one after another .
N.B. After Enabling an option you must click on Save all settings. Otherwise that setting will not be Enabled.
# Page Cache:
Click on Page Cache option from the W3 Total cache Dashboard & Enable different options like the images below one after another .
N.B. After Enabling an option must click on Save all settings. Otherwise that setting will not be Enabled for w3 total cache plugin.
N.B. Here, no need to check Enable Compatability Mode.
# Minify Settings:
Click on Minify option from the W3 Total cache Dashboard & Enable different options like the images below one after another .
N.B. After Enabling an option must click on Save all settings. Otherwise that setting will not be Enabled.
# Database Cache & Object Cache:
Skip these two settings.
# Browser Cache:
Click on Browser Cache option from the W3 Total cacheDashboard & Enable different options like the images below one after another .
N.B. After Enabling an option must click on Save all settings. Otherwise that setting will not be Enabled.
You have no need to set up the other options. Just Skip those options.
Now go to the General Settings Page again & click “Deploy”
It Will Show “Preview Settings Successfully Deployed”
& in the same way now click “Disable” & then “go live”
Now First Click “Empty The Page Cache” & then Click “Empty the Minify Cache”
These settings of W3 Total cache plugin work quickly for those websites which use Shared Hostings. You can also change the settings as you want.
